Shu Feng Ya Yun is a lantern-lit music hall where Chengdu's opera tradition performs nightly: shadow puppets, comedy, and the famous bian lian - performers who swap theatrical masks in the blink of an eye, so fast your camera will miss it.
Sit close. The face-changers work the aisles, and the show ends with a teapot-lotus long-spout pouring that has to be seen. Tea and snacks are served throughout.
