Detian Falls drops 70 meters in three tiers along the China-Vietnam border, sharing its flow with the Vietnamese side. It is Asia's largest transnational waterfall and Guangxi's great natural showpiece.

The border river lets you take a raft to the base of the falls - do it. The dry season (Dec-Apr) is gentler; the rainy season (May-Sep) is a roar.

Best for: Asia's biggest transborder waterfall, by raft.
