Zui Chang'an

Zui Chang'an (Drunk on Chang'an) brings Shaanxi cooking to a dining room styled like a Tang-era market street, and the result is both delicious and hugely photogenic: biangbiang noodles, liangpi, roujiamo, and the sour-broth classics of the northwest.

The menu is a confident tour of the province, the English translations are genuinely useful, and the staff are used to visitors who have never seen a half-meter noodle. It is busy, warm, and very Xi'an - the kind of restaurant where you order too much and regret nothing.
